My daughter wore this at 18 months (29 inches and 28 pounds) - it hung down to her knees, but it made it even more cute! She wore it again at 2-1/2 (34 inches and 31 pounds) and it fit perfectly with plenty of room in the body. If she doesn't get much taller she might even wear it again next Halloween! It is very well made, very sturdy, and super cute. Just needs a black tshirt and tights.

I bought the toddler size 2-4 yrs for my 15 month old. Even though it was technically big for her, the design was well thought out such that it still looked great and it will continue to do so as she grows. I liked that it is made of heavy felt fabric and she was warm on a cold and rainy Halloween. It also feels like it is made a little better than most Halloween costumes which frankly look frumpy. The only down-side is that the felt started piling a little bit after being worn twice. Still, it makes for a very cute lady bug! I plan on reusing this costume until I get a protest from my daughter.
FYI: black turtle neck and black tights are not included. I got the tights at Hannah Andersen and the turtle neck at Gymboree.

I could not have been more pleased with this ladybug costume. I looked online at a number of ladybug costumes and this one was the cutest one. My daughter is 5 months old so I was initially concerned that this would be way too big, but it worked perfect. Actually, I'm thinking she may even be able to wear it again next year. I also purchased a larger size for my 2 year old so they were matching ladybugs. Very cute. It seemed pretty durable, although, I don't think I would throw it in the wash, but it was durable enough for my 2 year old to play with kids at a Halloween party. The wings don't have wire but that didn't detract from the costume - they looked fine. My daughters received a lot of compliments on how cute they were. I am very pleased!

Our 16-month old granddaughter LOVED her Lady Bug costume and everyone thought she was "cute as a bug.". (We had a hard time finding black tights and a turtleneck in little sizes to complete the costume so plan ahead.) The costume was received the same week it was ordered.
